Mr. Strack, 45, is responsible for accessing and evaluating qualitative and quantitative market information and supporting the portfolio management team in both trade idea and trade strategy development.  In addition, he will coordinate the implementation of certain advanced technologies and technical based research as they apply to portfolio management.  Bill is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to Bill Lipschutz, Head of Portfolio Management.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Mr. Strack brings more than twenty years experience in both trading financial markets and implementing financial technology to Hathersage.  Mr. Strack and Mr. Lipschutz previously worked together on Salomon Brothers’ foreign exchange desk and later co-founded several start-up FX-only asset management companies from 1986 until 1995.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Over the last ten years, Mr. Strack has built and led sales management teams at a number of corporations in the areas of IT infrastructure and web-based applications.  Earlier in his career, he served in various operations management positions at Salomon Brothers Inc., including Foreign Exchange Operations Manager.  He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.<\/span> <\/p>\n
