{"id":4998,"date":"2006-09-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-09-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"bt-backs-new-hedge-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.hedgeco.net\/news\/09\/2006\/bt-backs-new-hedge-fund.html","title":{"rendered":"BT backs new hedge fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>  The Financial Standard &#8211; BT Financial Group has partnered with new hedge fund manager Voyager Funds Management in a distribution deal&nbsp;for the group\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s flagship Voyager Pan Asia Fund.<\/p>\n<p>  The long-short equities fund, run by Voyager\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s seven&nbsp;person investment team, is market neutral and invests in Pacific Rim countries, targeting returns of 15 per cent per annum with 10 per cent  or less volatility.<\/p>\n<p>  Voyager is&nbsp;the start-up of former managing director of JP Morgan Asset Management, London, Andrew Cormie, together with a former managing director of Deutsche Bank,&nbsp;Leon Christianakis.  It&nbsp;has been operational for four months and investing since July.
