Stamford Advocate – LexPRO Research LLC wants to help businesses make sound decisions. The new company, which set up shop at 20 Summer St. in Stamford in February, offers corporate due diligence and background investigation services.<\/p>\n
LexPRO’s target clients are hedge funds, funds of funds and other financial firms that need to research possible investments or affiliates before doing business with them.<\/p>\n
Partners Chris Procopis, Rob Rieger and Mike Levien research criminal history, bankruptcies, liens, regulatory issues and more.<\/p>\n
“You’ll be surprised what you can find,” said Rieger, of South Salem., N.Y.<\/p>\n
“Firms that have found out about us said they wish they knew about us before, because they didn’t do any due diligence,” said Procopis, of Cross River, N.Y.<\/p>\n
Though primarily serving business-to-business clients, LexPRO also works with high-net-worth individuals.
