WEST PALM BEACH, FL (HEDGECO.NET) – Citadel Investment Group has announced the recruitment of Matt Andresen, the former Chief Executive Officer of Island ECN. According to the released news, Andresenwill be working with the executive team, in charge of the firms \u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bdmarket-making businesses.\u00c3\u00af\u00c2\u00bf\u00c2\u00bd He will be posted to Citadel Derivatives Group, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Citadel Group based in Chicago,according to the statement.<\/p>\n
Mr. Andresen was also a former Chief Operating Officer of Instinet, and served as the head of global trading at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, according to published reports. Andresen graduated from Duke University.<\/p>\n

Citadel currently manages nearly US $10 billion for a wide range of investors; the firm currently employs 15 separate strategies.<\/p>\n
